Despite centuries of domestication, our dogs’ digestive systems have not changed. These animals still possess the same DNA as wolves and, if given the chance, would happily hunt elk, deer, rabbit, and birds in the wild. So it is appropriate they eat a high protein diet. However, many products use excessive levels of carbohydrates (up to 80 % in some foods) from ingredients such as maize, wheat and soya, which have a negative impact on canine health. For this reason, it is essential to have a protein-rich diet based on meat or fish. Our products are made with the natural diet of a wolf in mind.
